How my blog was created:
Starting a blog was something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I had a lot of thinking to do about it, planning my recipes, the name and so on. I also had to fit baking more into my schedule for this to work. But I knew I had to do it. I really love baking so I wanted to start a blog about to share my recipes with as many people as I could. Many of my recipes are crowd pleasers, and fairly easy to make. Alot of people are intimidated by baking when there’s really nothing to be afraid of. With my blog, I take you on my baking adventures and delicious recipes. And thus, Bern Bakes was born!!
My first piece of advice to new bloggers who want people to know they exist is to get into the blogosphere! Comment on posts, follow people, join blog partys/ meet and greets, etc. That way, people start visiting your blog more and you get lots more traffic. I’m really thankful for my growing blog but it wasn’t always that way! I had to do things to get noticed! People visited my blog, and now so many wonderful people have followed it. Not only does this help your blog, but you also meet many new bloggers which I have.
My second piece of advice would be to really mean what you are writing, if you have a great passion for blogging. I realized my passion for sharing my recipes which is why I started this blog!

Congrats! The advice about writing what you are passionate about is the truth! Sometimes I’ll come up with post ideas but won’t follow through with them because they aren’t exactly what I want. It’s nice to be genuine😄
