Hi Guys! I thought right before the super bowl started, I’d equip you with a quick snack. Maybe you forgot to buy the chips, or you wanted something to eat while watching the big game. This is something so easy, and takes at most 20 minutes. I can tell you because I just made it so I could share it with you guys! Anyways, these are baked tortilla chips. Basically, you take flour tortillas, pita bread, or white bread (rolled thin). Anything that is breadline will work for this. Then, you bake the “chips” in the oven for ten minutes, make a quick dip, and Enjoy! I hope you guys like this, and tell me if you make it!! I’d love to know that you made this quick fix. 😋😋
Homemade Baked Tortilla Chips with a Nut Butter Dip
As many flour tortillas, pita bread, or white bread (rolled with a rolling pin first) as desired
Cinnamon and Sugar (optional)
Coconut, vegetable, or canola oil or butter
For the dip:
As much peanut or nut butter as desired
a very tiny pinch of salt
Heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius)
Line a cookie sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper . Cut the desired bread item into chip like shapes by cutting diagonally into triangles. Brush the tops of the chips with the oil or butter. Sprinkle the chips with cinnamon sugar (sugar mixed with cinnamon) if desired.
Bake the chips for ten minutes, flipping them over half way through the baking process to ensure crispy chips. Let them cool while you make the super simple dip:
In a heatproof bowl, add the nut butter and a tiny pinch of salt. Melt in the microwave in 10 second intervals until fully melted, being sure to stir each time it comes out. Serve with the chips.
