I can understand the toys with eyes things. I have a similar thing about toys that talk with weird electronic voices. My son used to have this ball that would, after not being used for a while, switch itself off by cheerfully announcing, “Bye bye, see you soon!”. One night I was alone in the house and it did that and scared the heck out of me! 🙂
