Hello everyone! Today’s recipe is for delicious sugar cookies! These are so good, and highly addictive; they will bring you back for more! They are very simple to make with great results. Enjoy!
Sugar Cookies Recipe:
1 cup (200g) sugar
1⁄2 cup (120g) butter
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1⁄2 cups (165g) flour, sifted
1 1⁄2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1⁄4 teaspoon salt
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
Lightly grease two cookie pans.
In a large bowl, cream together sugar and butter.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Combine the flour, cinnamon, baking powder and salt in a smaller bowl; add this to the butter mixture and blend well until the dough is fully combined.
Put the dough into some plastic wrap; cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour, or till firm enough to roll into balls.
Shape dough into small balls.
Roll in sugar to coat.
Set cookies 1-inch apart on the cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 minutes or till the edges are lightly browned.
Cool slightly on pans, then remove to racks to cool completely.

MAKE IT VEGAN:
For the butter, use a vegan butter (earth balance)
For the egg, use 2 tbs. (30ml) of JUST egg (vegan egg substitute)
