Hello everyone! Hope all is well. For today’s recipe, I thought I should share a super simple snack/treat I’ve been loving recently. These baked mini donut holes are super simple to make, and made in a mini muffin tin! They are so soft and fluffy on the inside, and deliciously sweet and cinnamon-y on the outside. This recipe also requires minimal effort and it’s perfect any time of year (although I like to make them especially during December because they’re great with a cup of hot cocoa, just saying)! Hope you get to try this one, enjoy!

MINI MUFFIN DONUT HOLES VIDEO TUTORIAL:
Cinnamon Sugar Donut Holes:
(Makes 6-10 donut holes)
Ingredients:
For the donut holes:
- 1/2 cup (60g) all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 2 tbs. (30ml) neutral oil
- 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
For the cinnamon sugar coating:
- 2 tbs. (30ml) melted butter
- 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly oil a mini muffin tin (you won’t have to oil all of the crevasses, just about 6-10 of them).
- In a medium sized bowl, mix the dry ingredients.
- Add the wet ingredients and mix together until the batter is fully combined.
- Add the batter into the mini muffin tins.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown along the sides and puffed at the top.
- Let the donut holes cool; meanwhile melt the butter, and in a small bowl mix together the cinnamon and sugar.
- Once the donut holes are cool enough to handle, roll them in butter and then dip them in the cinnamon sugar.
- Repeat with the rest of the holes.
- Enjoy!
NOTES:
- This recipe makes a small batch of donut holes which can be doubled or tripled depending on however many you want.
MAKE IT VEGAN:
- For the milk, use plant milk such as almond
- For the butter, use vegan butter (Earth Balance is my favorite vegan butter brand)
